if you are interested in competing in the San Antonio Stock Show Livestock Judging contest please let me know so that I can include you on a team. We will use the scores from the Cameron County Fair in order to rank individuals within the teams. We can take more than one team if needed.

will be held on two days this year. Validation will occur on Tuesday, November 10th for those that already have their hog projects early in the month. The final validation day will occur on Tuesday, November 24th like we have had in previous years. More information will be provided on the location and times as it is made available. We just want to keep these two dates on your schedules at this time.

will be held November 17-19 in Weslaco. Agents will be out of the office on these days.

(Houston, San Antonio, Austin, San Angelo) will be Monday, November 16th Entries for major shows must be turned in to the Extension office by this day. We will then enter all exhibitor entry information on the stock shows online entry system.

entry deadline is scheduled for Friday, November 6th. All entries for Fort Worth must be turned to the Extension office by this date.

will be held Saturday, November 7th at Rio Grande Valley Livestock show grounds in Mercedes. Validation is scheduled from 9:00 am – 12:00 noon.. You do not have to pre-order tags. Tags will be available there at validation.

lesson will be held on Monday, October 26st at the Extension office. The lesson will begin at 5:30 pm.
