Cooperative Extension Agent – 4-H Youth Development
Coordinates the 4-H youth and development program in Cameron County. Identifies, recruits, and trains adult and youth volunteer leaders. Provides leadership and support for youth participation in county, district and state 4-H events and activities. Communicates 4-H program achievements to stakeholder groups and others. Responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating a series of outcome-based and effective educational programs for youth predicated on identified issues in the county and NIFA Goals. Provides marketing, reporting, and interpreting results of programming efforts. Works with community-based organizations to effectively link Extension and 4-H to the community.
