Formerly known as Kids, Kows, and More, this year’s RGV Ag Awareness Day promises to be a memorable experience for 4th graders residing in Cameron and Hidalgo counties.
RGV Ag Awareness Day is a premier agriculture awareness program designed to promote agricultural knowledge in the Valley and educate young students about where their food comes from.
The event features engaging activities such as a live milking demonstration by the Mobile Dairy Unit, sponsored by Southwest Dairy Farmers, as well as interactive lessons on cotton, grain, water conservation, honeybees, and wildlife. Our program supports over 30 school districts each year and reaches approximately 2,500 students.
